NDC
DEBTONATOR GIVE AWAY RULES

These rules apply
to “The NDC Debtonator” Give Away.

This Give Away is
being run and promoted by NDC Debt Counsellors Proprietary
Limited, registration number 2010/021401/07 (“NDC”).

 

1. GIVE AWAY
START AND END

1.1 The Give Away
starts at 6am on 01 March 2022 and ends at 5pm on 31 December 2022.

1.2 NDC reserves
the right to extend the duration of the Give Away, subject to these Give Away
Rules.

 

2. WHO
MAY AND MAY NOT ENTER THE GIVE AWAY

2.1 South African
citizens with valid South African identification may enter the Give Away.

2.2 Entrants must
be at least 18 years old.

2.3 NDC employees,
its directors, members , employees agents or consultants may not enter this
Give Away.

2.4 The spouse,
life partner, children, siblings or parents of any of the persons mentioned in
2.3 may not enter this Give Away.

2.5 Legal entities
may not enter this Give Away.

 

3. HOW TO ENTER

4. CONSENT TO CONSUMER ENQUIRY

By entering online
you give National Debt Counsellors consent to do a consumer credit check with the prescribed purpose of doing a consumer enquiry. 

 

5. MAXIMUM NUMBER
OF ENTRIES

Only one entry per
person will be allowed.

 

6. COLLECTION /
CLAIMING OF PRIZE

Prize money will be
paid directly to the Winners’ credit provider upon presentation of suitable
proof of the amount due to the creditor and confirmation of account
details.

 

7. NOTIFICATION OF
WINNERS

Winners will be
notified on the official National Debt Counsellors website 
www.nationaldebtcounsellors.co.za and/or on the
official National Debt Counsellors Facebook Page @NDCNationalDebtCounsellors and/or
telephonically.

 

8. IF WE ARE UNABLE
TO CONTACT THE WINNER

If the Winner
cannot be contacted within 7 days of the award the prize will be forfeited.

 

9. GROUNDS FOR DISQUALIFICATION

9.1 Any violation
or attempted violation of these Rules will result in immediate
disqualification.

9.2 Any entrant
supplying false, incorrect or misleading information will immediately be
disqualified.

 

10. GENERAL

10.1 NDC has the
right to terminate this Give Away at any time.

10.2 Each entry
will be considered by the judges and only one account per entrant
will qualify for entry.

10.3 NDC reserves
the right to change the rules of the Give Away.

10.4 All Prizes are
non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.

10.5 Participants
are responsible for any data or cell phone or other charges necessary to enable
them to participate in the Give Away.

10.6 NDC may
require the winner to complete and submit an information disclosure
agreement and indemnification to enable NDC to ensure compliance with
these Rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

10.7 By entering
this Give Away, participants agree to be bound by these Rules.

10.8 By entering
this Give Away you authorise NDC to collect, store and use (not
share) personal information of Participants for communication or statistical
purposes. You are entitled to decline any marketing communication by e
mailing

10.9 Any personal
data submitted by you will be used solely in accordance with current South
African data protection legislation and NDC’s privacy policy.

10.10 Participants
may be required to take part in publicity campaigns for broadcast or publishing
purposes. Participants shall at all times be entitled to decline any such
request.

10.11 Participants
that take part in any publicity will not be entitled to any payment or other
remuneration for such publicity or otherwise. All publicity and other
materials will be the sole property of NDC.

10.12 The judges
decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

10.13 The clauses
in these Rules are severable.

10.14 These
Rules and the Give Away are governed by the law of the Republic of
South Africa.

10.15 Nothing in
these Rules is intended to, or must be understood to unlawfully restrict, limit
or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the
Participant or NDC in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of
2008 (“CPA”).
